How much does rubbish removal cost in Torquay?
A general or hard rubbish bag costs $550 including GST, with tip fees included. A green waste bag costs $385 including GST. Single item pickup starts from $100, and clear-outs are quoted per job.
Are tip fees included in the price?
Yes. The published bag prices include collection and tip fees for accepted waste. There is no separate disposal bill for the accepted items in the quoted job.
How big is the bag and how much fits?
The bulk bag is 1m³. It is suited to household rubbish, hard rubbish or garden waste that fits within the bag. The weight and accepted contents still need to meet the tip’s rules.
How long can I keep the bag?
You can keep the bag for up to 2 weeks. Arrange the collection with Darcy when you are ready.
What can’t go in the bag?
Concrete, bricks, soil and other building materials, asbestos, chemicals, paint, gas bottles, car batteries, tyres and food waste are not accepted. Check with Darcy before adding anything you are unsure about.
